Francisco Vega, M.D.

VASCULAR SURGEON

Francisco Vega, MD is an experienced surgeon serving adults at Mission Surgical Clinic with locations in Riverside, California.

Dr. Vega began his professional education at California State University, Fullerton, earning his Bachelor of Science. Following graduation, he enrolled at Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee, and obtained his Doctor of Medicine.

Before entering private practice, Dr. Vega completed a general surgery residency at the University of California, Riverside, and a vascular surgery fellowship at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas, a nationally recognized program for advanced vascular procedures.

Dr. Vega made history in the Inland Empire as the first vascular surgeon in the region to perform TransCarotid Artery Revascularization (TCAR), a minimally invasive procedure designed to treat carotid artery disease and reduce the risk of stroke.

He proudly holds membership in several professional organizations, including the American College of Surgeons, the American Medical Association, the American College of Physicians, and the American Student Medical Association.

As a surgeon, he has special interests in minimally invasive procedures like laparoscopy and endoscopy. Dr. Vega is fluent in English and Spanish, enabling him to serve the practice’s diverse patient base.

Michael Chin, M.D.

VASCULAR AND GENERAL SURGEON

Michael Chin, MD, FACS, RPVI, is a board-certified surgeon at Mission Surgical Clinic, which has locations in Riverside, & Corona, California. He specializes in treating a wide range of vascular and general disorders. Dr. Chin has practiced in the greater Riverside County metropolitan area for over 30 years.

Dr. Chin earned his medical degree from the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California (USC) in Los Angeles. He went on to complete a general surgery residency at Highland Hospital in Oakland, California. He then advanced his training with a vascular surgery fellowship with the renowned Dr. Max Gasper in Long Beach.

He has been integral in developing new surgical training programs in the Inland Empire and is well-regarded by his peers and patients alike. He is compassionate about teaching and is a member of the core faculty of the Riverside Community Hospital General Surgery Residency Program.

He is on the Board of Advisors of the California Baptist University Physician’s Assistant Program. Dr. Chin is active with his alma mater, USC, in its alumni association. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (ACS) and the International College of Surgeons.

Dr. Chin is a member of the American Hernia Society (AHS), the Vascular Access Society of America (VASA), the California Medical Association (CMA), the American Society of Breast Surgeons (ASBS), and the Riverside County Medical Society (RCMA).
Dr. Chin, who has developed deep roots in the Inland Empire, is dedicated to providing skilled surgical care to all his patients.

Benjamin Fegale, MD

Dr. Benjamin Fegale is double board certified in Vascular and General Surgery and dedicated to providing advanced, patient-centered care for a wide range of vascular conditions. He is highly skilled in both open and minimally invasive procedures, with expertise in treating peripheral vascular disease, carotid artery disease, aortic disorders, and varicose veins. He also specializes in endovascular aneurysm repair and complex arterial interventions.

Dr. Fegale earned his medical degree from Loma Linda University School of Medicine and completed his general surgery residency at Riverside University Health System / UC Riverside. He went on to pursue advanced fellowship training in vascular surgery at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, gaining extensive experience in cutting-edge surgical and endovascular techniques.

Fluent in both English and Spanish, Dr. Fegale is committed to making high-quality vascular care accessible to a diverse patient population. He is passionate about delivering personalized treatment plans that improve outcomes, restore function, and enhance quality of life.

Vincent-Narvaez-MD

Vincent Narvaez, M.D.

VASCULAR AND GENERAL SURGEON

Dr. Vincent Reginald Narvaez is a double board-certified vascular and general surgeon dedicated to delivering advanced vascular and endovascular care to the Inland Empire. A fellowship-trained specialist, he provides both open and minimally invasive treatment options tailored to each patient’s needs.

Born and raised in the Philippines, Dr. Narvaez immigrated to the United States in 2004 and spent several years living in the Inland Empire. He earned his Doctor of Medicine as part of the inaugural class at the University of California, Riverside School of Medicine, where he committed to returning to serve his community. He went on to complete his vascular and endovascular fellowship at the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell on the East Coast, gaining expertise in complex arterial and venous interventions.

Now back home, Dr. Narvaez is fulfilling his promise to provide compassionate, evidence-based care for underserved populations in Riverside and surrounding areas. His approach combines cutting-edge techniques with a strong dedication to patient outcomes, ensuring the highest standard of surgical care.

James Pollack, M.D.

Dr. James A. Pollack is a seasoned board-certified general surgeon with over 30 years of experience, proudly serving Riverside and surrounding communities. He earned his medical degree from West Virginia University School of Medicine and completed rigorous surgical training, building a long-standing career marked by compassion and technical skill.

At Mission Surgical Clinic, Dr. Pollack offers expert surgical care across a broad range of areas—including general, breast, colorectal, abdominal wall, and anti-reflux surgeries. He is also experienced in robotic and minimally invasive surgical techniques, ensuring each patient benefits from modern, effective treatment options.

Dr. Pollack is known for his thoughtful bedside manner—patients appreciate how well he explains complex conditions and treatment plans. He is trilingual in English and Spanish, enabling him to provide personalized care to a diverse patient base.

Arash_Rahimi__MD

Arash Rahimi, MD

BARIATRIC AND GENERAL SURGEON

Dr. Arash Rahimi is a highly skilled surgeon specializing in general and bariatric surgery, with advanced training in foregut procedures and minimally invasive techniques. He has successfully completed a Bariatric & Foregut Surgery Fellowship at the high-volume, nationally recognized Geisinger Medical Center, where he focused on complex weight-loss surgeries, advanced endoscopy, and patient-centered care.

Dr. Rahimi earned his Doctor of Medicine from the American University of the Caribbean and completed five years of general surgery residency at Danbury Hospital in Connecticut. There, he developed expertise in managing complex surgical cases, including surgical oncology and trauma care. His work included serving as a Clinical Instructor at The Robert Larner, M.D. College of Medicine at the University of Vermont, where he trained the next generation of physicians.

Outside the operating room, Dr. Rahimi is passionate about patient advocacy and community service, having been involved in health outreach initiatives and leadership roles aimed at improving care for underserved populations.
